ACADEMICS

CBSE curriculum as per the CBSE standards is followed in GO School. NCERT: As per the CBSE recommendations NCERT books along with the recommended books for the reference learning are prescribed for the students of all grades.

Planned month wise syllabus :

Unique schedules of Daily Worksheets have been planned for the students of all grades. Worksheets enable students to explore and strengthen their thinking creative logical and application skills.One worksheet is planned for one subject every day.Planned Home Assignments: A well planned home assignment roaster is followed in all the subjects. In order to have a proper balance in child’s activities after school one subject for writing, one subject for learning homework is given on all days.

Regular assessments as per the CBSE guidelines are one of the integral feature of the curriculum.

Assessment Schedule :

In an academic year, evaluation will be carried out accordingly. Each academic year has been divided into two semesters

First semester : April to Sept.

Second semester : Oct. to March

Assessment Componants : Reading skills, Handwritting skills, Speaking skills,listning skills,writing skills,subject enrichment activity, notebook management, amount of syllabus 50%.

III to VII Periodic assessment
1 subject every week
Assessment Componants Paper pen test + subject enrichment activity + Note book management Half yearly exam (80 marks), internam assessment(20) total 100 marks
Note : Internal assessment componant in both semester 10 % weightage of of periodic test 5 % weightage of notebook management (10%+5%+5%=20%)

Co- Scholastic Assessment
I To II : Regular and countineus co-curriculum activities.performing arts, sports, music visual arts, work education etc.
III To VII : Work education, skill based activity, visual and performing arts, health and physical (attendace, sincierity regularity values, behaviour, tediness, respectfulness for rules and regulation,Attitude towards society, nature, teachers, fellows and others.
